University of Kentucky Basketball

Although Kentucky did not make it as far as I hoped, I am proud to be a wildcat fan.

ALB and her Baby

UK Basketball

What a year of Kentucky Wildcat Basketball. I am so glad that KY has gotten back their winning tradition. Keep up the great work and keep winning games.

ALB

This morning ALB got up right after I did. She came in the living room and said my baby's crying. I have to take care of her. After being up for some time and when I got dressed for school, she came up to me and said, "Daddy you have to go to school and teach Calculus today". She surprises me everyday with her vocabulary. The other day we were doing something together and she told me "no probemo Daddy". Wow! She keeps me and her Mommy very busy. I love her so much.

Christmas 2009

Well I haven't posted anything on here in a long time. We are out of school today so am using some of this time to write a few things.

Christmas was great. ALB got so much stuff. She even got tired of opening presents and Mommy and Daddy had to finish for her. We went to Kentucky to visit Grandparents on Christmas Day. We came back home to AL Sunday. We really enjoyed seeing everybody.

Position, Velocity, and Acceleration

Today in my AP Calculus class, I tried something that I never have before. Attending an AP Calculus professional development, I learned a neat way to teach position, velocity, and the effect of acceleration on the speed of a particle.

I used what I learned and my students said that it really helped them learn the concepts and effects of acceleration.

We are continuing to work really hard. AP CALCULUS RULES!!!

AP Calculus

I am so glad to be teaching such a smart bunch of AP Calculus students. EVERYONE is working hard and doing great. I just finished grading one of their tests and everyone did fine. I am so excited! Let's all keep up the hard work and it WILL pay off at the end.
